ViN 888 – OLSEN WINES Victoria is an independent, family owned wine producing business. From their humble beginnings of retailing fine wines, spirits and specialty beers starting with two outlets in Albert Park and Camberwell, the business developed a niche market for specialty products of which generic branding (cleanskin) is one of them. In 1991, wIth the success of their specialty product, the company then decided to venture into wine production and the multi awarded Olsen Wines was born. Glenn Olsen, their chief winemaker imparts his passion for winemaking, producing quality style of wines. Since then ViN 888 has developed 5 more product ranges in their portfolio.

The Olsen Wines label – the company’s flagship was established in 1993 and has since then received awards at major shows entered. James Haliday has given Olsen Wines four and a half stars and rated the Olsen Yarra Valley Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 95 points. The Big Fella range is Glenn’s signature wine style together with his very limited Heroes Blend. Triholm Station was created to commemorate the Danish settlement of which the Olsens were a part in South Gippsland, Victoria at the foothills of the Strezlecki Ranges.

In a most recent development, due to a popular demand from one of the company’s export market, two new ranges has been created – the J-O Wines and Etre Joyeux range. ViN888 has also developed and has been successful with their natural wines made without additives and is sulfite free. Their estate in the heart of world famous Yarra Valley wine region produces the very limited Olsen Park Estate Wines.

ViN 888-OLSEN WINES Victoria also specializes in Private Labels and the company and its committed and highly–skilled growers share their philosophy about quality. ViN 888 Victoria has ESTABLISHED MELBOURNE’S FIRST INNER SUBURBAN WINERY IN OAKLEIGH with production capacity of 500,000 litres and storage capacity of 600,000 litres.
